Latest CD Release

I'm very excited to announce my latest album "How Can I Keep From Singing?"
For those of you that know me well, you'll know the answer to that question is,
"I can't - I just love to sing!"

Featuring inspirational songs by songwriter Sally DeFord (plus a song of my own), some wonderful instrumentalists and two duets with LDS singer Allyse Smith Taylor.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did singing them.

And His Name Shall Be Called Wonderful... CD cover

It was so much fun working on this recording project over in the States with songwriter Sally DeFord. Her songs really are beautiful.

When working on a project like this, you sometimes take the songs for granted, but every time I hear them, I fall in love with them all over again. It's a real Christmas chillout album. With a soothing blend of traditional and original material, "His Name Shall Be Called Wonderful" is a touching reminder of the true meaning of the holiday season.

It was thrilling to hear some friends announce their Christmas Eve plans: "We're going to put James' CD on to help us relax when the kids are finally in bed!"

Available now is "An Angel to Watch Over Me". On it you can hear me singing the title song, accompanied by acclaimed LDS pianist Marshall McDonald (on the piano that used to be on the Donny and Marie show) and it recently made the "Top Ten Best Sellers" list at deseretbook.com. "An Angel to Watch Over Me" celebrates the women in our lives and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Sing Out!

Back in the summer of 2008 my choir, United Voice North West, recorded a CD of some of the songs they'd performed so far in their concerts. We had great fun whilst recording and I'm proud to announce that their debut CD "Sing Out!" (an exciting choral collection of hits from the stage and screen) is available to buy!
